A good name and a good reputation are the most valuable assets in life.

These assets must be protected and defended to ensure they are properly preserve and passed on to the next generation.

In this fast information age the publication on the world wide web of  a slanderous comment or inaccurate statement about a person or business, have been proven and shown to destroy lifes, families, businesses,  opportunities, and investments.

Those of us who claim freedom of speech should take good care in ensuring factual accuracy of statement we make about others. Hence it is important that all of us with the priviledge of freedom of speech, exercise great care to ensure the accuracy of statements made. Publishing lies about individuals or organization is a serious offence, that often result in damage claims against the perpetrators of this lies.

However, the sad thing is that the damage would have already been done by the time victims of these lies get a chance to defend their name and good reputation.

Exactly a year ago, an unknown and faceless blogger who referred him or herself as "Lotus", publish series of lies and false allegations against David Crownborn and Esther Crownborn.

It has taken nearly over a year for the Crownborn to respond to these lies among many others lies published about them by faceless, coward and criminal bloggers.

Blogging is a very effective tool in getting important factual information out to the public and it have been proven to assist businesses and private individuals alike. However just like any new invention, there are always those minority criminals who will do anything to abuse the system and misuse this new tool of quick communication.

David and Esther Crownborn have therefore responded to the lies published by Lotus, and requested that this individual make an official apology for spreading lies about the Crownborn.
