&lt;DIV class=inside-copy&gt;STRAFFAN, Ireland — With the inclement Irish weather all the talk at the Ryder Cup on Tuesday morning after The K Club temporarily was closed, Tiger Woods' mood grew darker than the skies hovering over picturesque County Kildare.&lt;/DIV&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;This was Tiger we've all come to know on the golf course: committed, passionate, on the attack. A warm-up query by the moderator to open his media day elicited a friendly but curt response from the world's pre-eminent golfer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;"If you don't mind," he said, "I'll answer that in a second."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Simmering with anger, yet composed, the 30-year-old international icon launched into an attack on an obscure Dublin magazine produced with a young, shamrock-green staff trying hard to be hip: "It's hard to be very diplomatic about this when you have so much emotion involved, when my wife is involved like this."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;The offending phony smut photo accompanied this story: "Ryder Cup filth for Ireland." The picture falsely depicted his 26-year-old wife, Elin, lying down with her back arched, head flung back and breasts exposed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;"Most American golfers are married to women who cannot keep their clothes on in public," said the story in the September issue of &lt;I&gt;The Dubliner&lt;/I&gt;. "Is it too much to ask that they leave them at home for the Ryder Cup? Consider the evidence — Tiger Woods' wife can be found in a variety of sweaty poses on porn sites."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;When I asked him about protecting her, he was crestfallen. "You do things for the people you love and care about. My father got ridiculed for years, and I always felt for my father, and my mother, the same way. My wife, we're in it together; we're a team and we do things as a team. I care about her with all my heart."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;It's hard to ever feel sorry for Tiger Woods. I do.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Huddling up with caddie Stevie Williams, captain Tom Lehman, assistant Corey Pavin and teammate Jim Furyk, Woods changed his plans and spoke a day earlier, telling them, "I've got to get this off my chest."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;"He's his own man, and he's really good at it," Lehman said. "Our message to him was simply, 'Whatever you have to do, you do it and we're behind you.' "&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Woods explained that he loves the Irish and Europeans who have been so kind and hospitable to both him and the U.S. contingent. For years, he has enjoyed fly-fishing for trout and salmon in Ireland. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Unfortunately, no self-respecting fish would permit itself to be wrapped in &lt;I&gt;The Dubliner&lt;/I&gt;. Or, for that matter, the &lt;I&gt;Irish Daily Star&lt;/I&gt;, which also took a dip into the cesspool of sensationalism.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Woods' outrage also stems from bogus photos of a young blonde billed as his Swedish ex-model wife in a variety of pornographic poses which have made the rounds on Internet sites for years. "To link her to porn websites and such is unacceptable," he fumed, "and I do not accept them at all. Neither does our team."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Ah, yes, the golf. That's why we're here. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;One wonders how this sort of thing might affect the man's game, if at all. His laser focus is legendary. We expect nothing less this weekend with Woods leading.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Yet, what happens if a drunken lout yells something crass at Tiger? Or someone whips out &lt;I&gt;The Dubliner&lt;/I&gt;?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;The magazine, banned at the U.S. team's hotel, suggested that Furyk's wife, Tabitha, "married geeky Jim as his winnings hit 10 million pounds." The story also said that David Toms' wife, Sonya, finds it "liberating" to wear her bikini around their home.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;Tuesday, Toms said, "I don't pay attention to that. It's funny to see the (fake) pictures and just to get a good laugh, but as far as getting upset about anything that's printed, I think we know enough about it where we don't take it with a whole lot of seriousness."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;You would think that, by now, Toms would know Tiger Woods a little better than that. During their practice round, he noticed no ill effect. "Obviously, whatever happened this morning," he said, "he turned it off by the time he was on the golf course."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;The story appeared in the "Village People" section under the name "Lou Slips." The magazine dubs itself as the "definitive guide to Irish culture." If so, I would be embarrassed to call myself Irish. Or, as Phil Mickelson rightly suggested, a journalist. "I don't think it shows too much about your profession," Lefty sniffed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;We're embarrassed for our print brethren, however smarmy they are. Tuesday, the magazine issued its regrets. We're guessing that Mark Steinberg, Woods' powerful IMG agent, picked up the phone and made a transatlantic call that punctured several eardrums. Woods has not ruled out legal action. With Ireland's notoriously tough libel laws, that means he could probably add the title of "publisher" to his résumé.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;While stressing the story's satirical theme, the chastised magazine's apology included acknowledgement it was "inappropriate," though it never mentioned the photo. In part, the statement said: "... in the context of the entire article the publishers believed that readers would not be left with the impression that there was any truth in the assertions, it being an absurd parody of inaccurate tabloid publishing generally."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;In other words, oops. Sorry. Our bad. And maybe &lt;I&gt;your &lt;/I&gt;bad for not being sophisticated enough to realize we were having a bit of a funny. Pretty lame stuff.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;The real damage had been done and, presumably, the struggling 4-year-old periodical desperate for circulation sold a few more. Which is exactly what an Irish tabloid did Tuesday after repeating the salacious garbage, a day after predicting a hurricane for the Cup.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;The &lt;I&gt;Irish Daily Star&lt;/I&gt;, feigning ignorance of the truth, published a front-page photo of Woods' real wife wearing a white bikini and accompanied by the screaming tabloid headline: TIGER'S FURY AT 'NAKED' PICTURES. The newspaper said the magazine claimed that the photo in question was "genuine."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=inside-copy&gt;More nonsense. Still, the magazine's editor, Trevor White, had to know how the tabloids might treat &lt;I&gt;The Dubliner&lt;/I&gt;'s piece. If he didn't, he shouldn't be editor. I wanted to ask him about that, but he was hiding out in his office and unavailable. Maybe Mr. White was cooking up something else smelly because his real background is as a restaurant critic. His newest book is the appropriately named &lt;I&gt;Kitchen Con&lt;/I&gt;. Lovely. Just lovely.&lt;/P&gt;

But the reality was due to the negative publicity many lives and businesses were affected, business partners and associates were traumatised, and David Crownborn and Esther Crownborn themselves suffered both financial loss and losses in many other areas.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;SPAN lang=en-IE&gt;&lt;BR&gt;A year after the event, David Crownborn and Esther Crownborn began to question the accuracy of advise received to just ignore the negative bloggers. A year later they realised it may have been a serious mistake to just keep quiet and allow their enemies to rant and rave and spread lies about them. Although based on the advise received legal action was taken against the main perpetrators of the abuse which resulted in high court injunction and removal of some of the ennous remarks, but the damage was done already.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

They also now realise that some of the advise received was based on information from professional who were unfamiliar with the bloggosphere and the potential of negative comments on the blog to cause serious damage to business reputation and destroy brands.”&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P lang=en-IE&gt;Many multi million dollar corporation in the US and abroad have all at one time or another in the recent past been a victim of negative blogging, however proactive steps are taken by these corporation to counteract any negative publicity.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P lang=en-IE&gt;Forbes Magazine recently published an article titled “attack of the blogs” by Daniel Lyons November 14, 2005 in which she reported that “Web logs are the prized platform of an online lynch mob spouting liberty but spewing lies, libel and invective” ...they destroy brands and image”. This would be an interesting article for anyone seeking to know the potential damaging effect of negative blogging.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P lang=en-IE&gt;Somehow unless someone is a direct victim of hate campaign or falsely accussed it's sometimes difficult for them to understand the plight of innocent people who found themselves as the target of such slander and hate campaign. So before believing what you hear or read, try and first imaging yourself as the subject of the negative information and try and experience how it would feel to be falsely accused and then may be this would give you a clear and objective view of seeking after the truth.&lt;/P&gt;

Publishing lies about individuals or organization is a serious offence, that often result in damage claims against the perpetrators of this lies.&lt;/P&gt;

One example of this is the User Interface design limitations within J2ME, one of our staff has re-wrote it, a task even Nokia has not approached yet.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Having worked for software development companies previously, I felt excited when joining GMV.&lt;BR&gt;GMV had not succumed to the common bureacracy that is normally found in development houses and that leads to the common disgruntled feelings with employees and their inevitable job hopping. I have always felt that their is opportunity here for my career and no need to look elsewhere .&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;From the outset I have felt at ease and stable within GMV, so much so that I am purchasing my first house with the deal closing on Friday.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;From recent activites with the media and such I have felt slightly worried as to my and the companies future and also rather angry.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;The company took on a number of junior developers and offered them a great _opportunity _to start their careers with a company that is moving forward.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Firstly, from their interviews, according to them (as I was an interviewer), they had experiences in the area of Java development.We decided to put them through training in some of the basics of Java &amp;amp; JSP to bring them up to speed.&lt;BR&gt;This being my area of expertise, I was easily able to establish who had the BASIC understandings of what was goin on. For the others I persisted in their questions and spent a lot of time with them.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;I delegated JSP tasks to all junior developers and gave them an over-average long period of time to complete the task and encourage the group to help each other.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;After a period, that in no doubt proves wether they were up to the job or not, we decided to let the weak developers go.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;I was asked to submit a report based on who was productive and who wasnt. I produced that report and named the people that did not or could not provide any assistance to me and act as a hinderance. The standard &lt;BR&gt;for my decision was based on initiative, questioning, understanding and ability to follow instruction.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;There is even one ex-employee who I requested on three occasions to show me what he had done and he couldnt beacause he didnt have anything to show, spent his time doing lessons from a book&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;rather than following my specific instructions on basic tasks.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;The level of technical understaning was not above basic levels, in fact there are one or two staff whos technical abilities are basic but their commitment, initiative and general all round attitude actually help in the day to day delivery of projects (isnt that what normal staff are supposed to do?). I still train these staff on a daily basis.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;I feel the company has been put through un-necessary upset with recent occurances. The company has been constantly moving forward in a positive way and I want to get back to work&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;on the projects at hand.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

I had become a bit disconcerted with graphic design and the lack of good opportunities in my country. When I got the chance to start with GMV I was determined to make something of it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Right from the start I fell in love with this company. There was so much ambition amongst the majority of the staff. They really wanted to make this work. I did myself, it was an exciting technology we were pushing. The workload was has always been challenging but as I soon found out, with hard work comes greater responsibility, and with greater responsibility comes greater rewards. This is the first time I have been in a company that actually lived up to that promise. Within 4 months I was promoted to Graphic Design Team Supervisor. Since then a few weeks ago I was promoted to Director of Design. There is nothing that motivates you more to work harder than knowing and being shown that you are appreciated. This is what I have been looking for since I started out on my career 6 years ago.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;The past couple of weeks have been shattering. The people and the company I have grown to love as a family has been accused of all sorts of weird and unfounded allegations. It was difficult to take some of them seriously initially as they were so outrageous. Now I just feel disgust, and anger that some former colleagues of mine, some of whom I regarded as friends are trying to destroy that which I and so many others have strived so hard to create.I can understand grievances with being paid late but this is appalling. Don't they consider the livelihoods of the current employees when they decide amongst themselves to try to destroy the company? Obviously not or how could they bring themselves to carry out this despicable act.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;How can the twist the perceptions of a family environment such as this in “sex, pest hell”. If on occasion people shake hands or hug in this company, it is because those people are friends. I myself have made some really valuable friends in this company who I socialize with almost every weekend. Why should I treat my friends differently when I aim in the office with them for fear someone around us is going to say one of us is sexually assaulting the other. It is absolutely ridiculous.With regard to the payment issue. There was a problem with cashflow as we were all informed off. This isn't an ideal situation to be in but I can understand the pressures involved in a start-up company. I trust my employers, I know they will do everything in their power to look after me in every way possible.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;When I started here for the first few I had no car, they used accommodate me by putting me up in a hotel every time I worked late and was too tired to get a taxi all the way home to where I lived in Wicklow. Shortly afterwards they provided accommodation for me to help me out while I tried to find some living arrangements of my own. I am eternally grateful to David and Esther Crownborn. They have done everything in their power to help me in my life. These are the sort of people everyone would be glad to have as friends. It doesn't just hurt me because disgruntled employees are trying to destroy the company I work, my livelihood and other family's livelihoods. It hurts me because they don't deserve this. All they have ever done is give; to me, to the other employees to worker hard as I did to earn their respect and to our economy.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

I understand that new companies will have initial hurdles to cross in preparation for winning the marathon!!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

I mean I have worked for the future of my company since almost its beginning, making good friends in management, senior management and the general workforce. I have seen my colleague's work tirelessly for their fellow employee's, themselves and their families. The reason I have worked so hard for my company is obvious. If my company succeeds I succeed.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Recently a number of former employees who were employed in a trainee capacity together with their families and friends have launched a suspiciously organised attack on my company alleging all sorts of damaging claims. Damaging to me and my colleagues and damaging to my company and its business locally and potentially internationally.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;This group have teamed up with TD F.M and TD J.H with the agenda of elevating these allegations into a national debate.&lt;BR&gt;I can only imagine what effect this media circus would have on my company and its future.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Neither TD F.M. nor TD J.H have any stage attempted to contact any present employee to hear their side of these allegations instead on Tuesday as far as I am aware TD F.M or TD J.H. will enter these allegations for debate in a Q&amp;amp;A in the dail with aim of further debate.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text1&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 1.2em"&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;I strongly feel it would be a grave injustice for my colleagues and I, who for such a long time have worked so hard, and so long for our company and our future. To be railroaded by a small group of ex trainee employees and their trail by media tactics.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

We have our mind set in one direction, some operation is performed, and – lo and behold - our mind is now set in another direction. So many aspects of our lives are orientated towards changing our mind. John Bates, David Howe and their cohorts in their well documented campaign changed peoples’ minds against GMV and in so doing led to the destruction of GMV in Ireland.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;GMV had undertaken a large recruitment drive in March and April 2005 over 30 new staff joined the company. A lot of time and energy was expended on recruiting, training and integrating these new “staffs” into GMV. GMV was on the cusp of commercial launch and service delivery. A new office was opened to deal with the additional staff, additional resources were procured and all these were paid for cash with up front. GMV was on a roll, ready for service delivery and product launch. A new marketing department was formed to help market and image the products being offered, with a rapid cash burn. The focus was on growth, putting the resources in place to hit the ground running.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;As a company delivering service on mobile phone this technology was not taught in college and the new staff had to be trained to understand the service and the ability to adapt the service for particular client needs. As GMV expanded it soon became evident that productivity was not increasing, it was necessary to weed out those who did not perform or could not perform. This led to the dismissal of eight trainees, who were incapable even after extensive training of completing simple tasks given to them by their managers.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;They were not capable for the positions, they had been informed on a regular basis that improvements were required. These trainees were very much disgruntled, the opportunity for which that had had longed for was taken from them. How could they seek their retribution? They wrote to the Taoiseach and other Politicians 5 days before they were due to get paid. Some of these former trainees only two days since they were let go. It was never a question of Money not being paid that would come for other employees once they had destroyed the Supply Side of the Business through the Media and the Extremist Politicians who were seeking more biased labour laws and stronger regulation and legislative enforcement, all at GMV’s expense. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Under the guidance of John Bates and David Howe, (in retrospect, a disgruntled employee who was let go when his contract expired in early March 2005), these individuals sought to destroy GMV and make wild and unsubstantiated claims about GMV and its work practices.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;John Bates was the catalyst for the torrent of abuse and hatred that GMV suffered. If GMV was such a bad place to work, why had so many people endured it? In April and May 2005, GMV employed 70 to 80 Staff. Ireland has the lowest unemployment rate in Europe and having hi-tech knowledge and experience there are a multitude of opportunities readily available. Why stay in a place you do not like? Why not complain to management? Why not discreetly contact the government bodies and get the alleged problems corrected? &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Well with the torrent of abuse that Bates &amp;amp; Howe had framed, and the media and Marxist politicians in toe they set their hatred campaign in motion. Some 48 hours after Bates was suspended pending an investigation, The Village Magazine printed a front page exclusive article on GMV. The following morning, Saturday 11th June 2005, a very biased and uninformed article appeared in the tabloid, the Irish Daily Star. Less than 72 Hours after Bates suspension, a GMV Representative received a call from Vivian Traynor of RTE 6 one news. Vivian advised that a most unusual Press Conference was organised at 2pm, Buswells Hotel today, Saturday 11th June 2005. The Press Conference included Counsillor Aodhan O’Riordan, Finian McGrath TD, John Bates, and David Howe, Deputy Higgins sent his apologies. After the Press Conference Finian McGrath TD believed these liars and made a most libelous press statement on the newswire against GMV without having the common decency of meeting with GMV. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Deputy McGrath met with representative of GMV, at 10.30am on Tuesday 14th June 2005. Deputy McGrath said “He did not know who to believe” and he specifically asked was this “Political”. With True Political Ethics, that he obviously holds, prior to meeting with GMV Deputy McGrath and Deputy Higgins had already requested written replies from the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment concerning GMV and State Grants. And has sought to address Dáil Eireann with a Section 31 Adjournment debate request an immediate investigation in the affairs of GMV. Despite repeated, approx. 4, requests to meet with Deputy Joe Higgins, Deputy Higgins choose to ignore GMV Representatives.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Independent Deputies Finian McGrath TD and Joe Higgins TD were intent on seized the opportunity to questions whether GMV was getting State Assistance and therefore sought replies to 3 written questions in Dáil Eireann.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Two days later, Finian McGrath’s Adjournment debate on the 16th June was a full week before any written complaints were signed by any complainants let alone sent to the Labour Relations Commission and some two weeks after Deputy McGrath’s original statement. To rally the troops, John Bates had organised to meet with former employees at Trinity College Gates on Thursday 23rd June to collate the information for Mary Harney’s investigation. This was 15 days since he started his nasty campaign and his attempt to persuade other into his ultimate quest: the destruction of GMV.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Suppliers, Clients and potential Investors were contacted by these destroyers, Suppliers arrived at the building trying to extort money from GMV or they would go to the Press; there was an untenable air of hostility to GMV. A particular recruitment agency went to the same Media and alleged suing GMV; this was always untrue further added to the hostility for GMV. The Car Hire Company became hostile after receiving numerous calls and the landlord illegally ordered employees from the building and has since locked GMV from his premises. The landlord was making unreasonable demands for re-entry to the building and spoke with other suppliers which did not help the situation adding to the hostility and hatred that GMV had to endure.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;With all these forces in play it is easy to see how people changed their minds against GMV. From the information provided to GMV, the Labour Relations Commission received no written complaints until 23rd June. How can such misinformation and negative stereotypes be so acceptable in Irish statutory bodies work practices? Where is equal status when Irish equality is primarily governed by employment rights, and in this case the employer is not your stereotypical employer they happen to be “black”?&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Not satisfied with personal attack on David Crownborn and&amp;nbsp;Esther Crownborn, these individuals contacted Suppliers, Business Partners, Potential Investors and the Media to ensure “this business is closed down”.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;David&amp;nbsp;Crownborn has made formal complaints to the Gardai and asked them to investigate this blatant racist incitement campaign against him and his family. GMV has been subjected to a nasty and vicious campaign where particular individuals’ were intent on the harassment and destruction of GMV. On your watch you let “commies” infiltrate government bodies to destroy the entrepreneurial spirit of Irish people and their investments in Irish employees.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;GMV was subjected to a professionally orchestrated campaign of “mobbing” with innuendo and false claims where numerous allegations were made. The allegers then disperse but by the time the investigation has concluded GMV will have exploded into millions of fragments that are impossible to bring back together. Government bodies under your remit were misused and abused by these professional agitators to ensure the destruction of GMV.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;SIPTU furnished GMV with the letter sent by six former employees on 25 th May 2005 to you Minister. Why did nobody from your department contact GMV with these allegations? The letter is signed by 5 trainees, an obviously a very disgruntled six month contractor:&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;

&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;These individuals were let go in mid May 2005 and they were not due to get paid till the beginning of June 2005. Contacting the Taoiseach and other Government bodies 5 days before their pay was due, their actions could not be considered reasonable. These individuals through the guidance of John Bates initiated the campaign against GMV, where are they today? Can your department hold them responsible for this mendacious whistle blowing? Minister per Article 40.3.2 of the Irish Constitution, the personal rights of the employer must also be protected from unsubstantiated attack, but why did your department not intervene?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Is there not something amiss when the Minister of State for Labour Affairs, Deputy Tony Killeen, in his letter dated 25 th June 2005 promised a reply to our letter, to date we have received no reply despite contacting his department and verifying his intention to reply. (Ref: 050339/MLA). Furthermore Deputy Killeen inadequately answered Deputy Finian McGrath’s questions 641, 645 and 656, on the 28 th September 2005 , considering the actual responses we have received from the relevant government bodies. Deputy Killeen finishes his answer with “Every effort is being made to address the employees’ concerns”. These people have obviously bullied the Minister for State to believe that GMV is in the wrong and these employees are the victims. Deputy Killeen is correct in his assumption that GMV has closed, he must realise that GMV could not sustain the level of hatred and the incitement to hatred that was imposed on it. His comment regarding the principals of GMV “the principals involved may no longer be within the jurisdiction of the State”. This misinformation is encouraging a racial witch hunt, when the Principals that are still in the jurisdiction of Ireland.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;

This is important politically and therefore you gave this the attention it deserved. This also prevented a political minefield for the government as Deputy Higgins would have been on his Gama cant again. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;

While this department is not under your remit, the complaints raised against GMV were unworthy of any investigation. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;

&lt;H3&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Mr John Bates made spurious complaints to the Equality Authority that could not be investigated and the case is now closed. The other complaint is made by people owed money and they never made any complaint through GMV’s grievance procedure and only lodged their complaints after meeting with Mr Bates on the 23 rd June 2005. Four months later they seem to have dispersed or lost interest in their allegations. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;H3&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;The Labour Inspectorate inspected the payslips and Human Resource records. Helene McInnerney carried out an inspection on June 22 nd 2005. Helene was happy with her findings but was sent back to get more reports. When she returned for more reports the landlord had decided to illegally lock employees out of the premises and prevented the employees from continuing in business. Helene was informed of this and she recently appeared at the LRC to get access to the other reports she required. The landlord has to date refused us access to retrieve our properties. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;H3&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;We have been to almost 30 Labour Relations Commission hearings, at least 12 of the cases are not applicable and obviously misinformed by Mr Bates, 5 complainants didn’t turn up, we didn’t contest 5 cases as some employees unfortunately got caught up in this, and we expect an equitable response to the others. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;GMV has forward our employment policies and procedures to the relevant agencies, and still four months since these allegations were first raised in the Dáil by extremist politicians we have not been fairly represented by any political process.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Where is the due process? GMV was found guilt without any due process, without being consulted or asked what our response was, where are GMV’s rights? Does your department in its remit for fostering enterprise and employment in Ireland protect business from these incomprehensible destructive forces? It was brought to your department’s attention these destructive forces were undertaking a documented strategic campaign to mob and then bomb GMV using a mob tactics to cause mayhem and then disperse. Four months later this is where we are at, trying to pickup the remnants of their destruction. I enclose that said document from June 13 th 2005.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Victims they are not, their campaign has been a success in throwing allegations and destroying the investments that GMV had to bring to Ireland. These disgruntled employees have made up “cock and bull” stories it up as they went along. These disgruntled trainees contacted the media, Key Suppliers, Creditors, Clients and Investors to ensure that the business ecosystem was attacked from the inside. These destroyers set up a blog site to communicate and incite hatred, with links to Marxism and the alternative media of the Internet. GMV is the victim having spent approx. $10 million USD and has been served a great injustice, Minister what about GMV and the monies invested, the incessant twenty hours of work a day and all of the other efforts expended and sacrifices made to create opportunities, employment and tax revenues for Ireland.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;GMV is alarmed at the chronology of events, from the information provided to GMV it seems the “cart was before the ass”. From the complaints forwarded by government agencies to GMV, the only formal written complaints received by Government agencies were not signed by any of the complainants until the 23 rd of June 2005, and then not received till the 28 th of June 2005. But look what the cart had done before the ass arrived. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;

Coincidentally, Joe Higgins had a favourable profile after the Gama incident by these same reporters that day in the Village Magazine, (Village magazine 3 rd - 9 th September). &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;

Obviously Ireland is in a Political crisis, the Extreme European socialist political model is overtaking and with the emergence of Sinn Fein, there are rough times ahead for inward investment. Employees of GMV and others have seen what GMV has been subjected to and have remarked, based on the experiences of GMV they would not start a business in Ireland, how can employees be so disgruntled and so nasty? They have cost Ireland a lot of jobs, tax revenues and the opportunity of putting Ireland at the forefront of The Digital Hub map of the world. XXX has been a Social Welfare Recipient for the past six years, one year while still at College and the rest of the time when he was being employed by various State Grant Recipient Organisations, (Trinity College Dublin (TCD), and Colaiste Dhulaigh). How can a person who has collected the dole for six years and allegedly lectured in TCD cause such harassment and destruction?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;
&lt;H3 class=text2&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Legal proceeding have now commenced by Lavelle &amp;amp; Coleman Solicitors against Mr Bates and others for libel, defamation, and sabotage of the business. The Gardai are investigating Mr Bates and others for inciting hatred and racial abuse. This is our only recourse as there is no state protection to ensure a due process is followed before allegations are aired in public by extremist politicians.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;

At no time did he give Global Mobile Vision the courtesy of an audience or the chance to rebut the allegations. However, one individual, with demonstrable ties to the anarchist movement, saw fit to steal intellectual property and confidential information from the company, in an attempt and effort to disrupt the operations of the business. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;This individual had engaged in a pattern of deception from his first day on the job, including falsification of his CV. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;After a brief period of employment during which his actions led management and some of his colleagues to question both his competency and his motives, he was confronted and questioned and suspended by the company. However, he refused to allow the company to examine his belongings on leaving the premises to ensure that he had not taken confidential information, as is the right and indeed practice of most companies. He made spurious accusations against Global Mobile Vision and denied taking any information at the time. Later, he admitted in public that he did have this type of information on his person at the time of his suspension and for this very reason, had refused to allow his bags to be searched.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class=text2&gt;It has since also been discovered that this individual and the blogger discussed below have a connection and that the individual may have been placed at Global Mobile Vision with the assistance of the blogger, for reasons known only to them.
